There are only a few days left until the 7th International Adana Flavor Festival, which will take place from October 6th to 8th under the auspices of the Adana Governorate. Last year, it was considered Turkey’s largest gastronomy event, and this year, with a focus on the “menus of the early republic period” in the centenary of our republic, the festival expects to be visited by 1 million people.

With its centuries-old rich history and unique flavors, the 7th International Adana Flavor Festival, which will be held this year, took place last year with the participation of 200 companies. The festival brought significant vitality to the city last year, with over 200 guests, chefs, opinion leaders, and press members participating, and 660,000 people visited the festival. Last year, during the three-day event, 261,500 kilograms of meat and 196,800 liters of turnip juice were consumed, and a kebab skewer cooking record was also set with 233.67 meters, generating an economic income of 150 million Turkish Lira.

1 MILLION VISITORS EXPECTED

This year, too, there is already great interest in the festival. All hotels in Adana and the surrounding provinces are fully booked.

The 7th International Adana Flavor Festival, which will take place from October 6th to 8th, continues to progress towards becoming the largest gastronomy event held in our country. Not only in Turkey but also on a global scale, Turkish Airlines is increasing its flight numbers in attention to the festival. Infrastructure preparations have been completed on a 180-acre wide area in Adana Merkez Park by the Seyhan River, where it is estimated that 1 million people will visit the festival.
