Şener Şen is coming to your city with his magnificent performance at Zengin Mutfağı (Rich Kitchen)!
Starting on August 14th with BKM Organization, Zengin Mutfağı will begin its new Turkey tour, and after a long break, it is preparing to meet the audience in Denizli, İzmir, Bursa, Antalya, and Adana.
The play, which was first staged at Istanbul City Theatres in 1978, has not lost any of its relevance despite the decades that have passed. Forty years after its first performance, in 2018, the talented actor Şener Şen once again took the lead role as Lütfü Usta in Zengin Mutfağı, and the play continues to play to full houses.
Plot: The play revolves around the impact of the biggest workers’ movement in the history of the Republic of Turkey, the events of June 15-16, 1970, on a rich family’s kitchen. The loyal servants of the house will not remain indifferent to the unfolding events, and each of them will have a share in the societal changes.
Vasıf Öngören presents the historical events in an entertaining way in the play, which has been interpreted multiple times on the theater stage and adapted to the silver screen.
