The Antalya Metropolitan Municipality has renovated the entrance sign of Kemer, the pearl of tourism, located on Atatürk Boulevard. The newly renovated sign, built in line with the city’s aesthetics, has added visual beauty to the district entrance.

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek has fulfilled another promise to the residents of Kemer, following the Closed Parking Lot and Market Area Project and the Republic Square arrangement. Mayor Böcek had previously stated that the worn-out sign at the Kemer 1 entrance, which welcomes millions of domestic and foreign tourists every year, would be restored to a level befitting a tourism center. After the completion of the work carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality teams, the entrance sign of Kemer has been renewed.

MODERNIZED

Due to the falling and deformation of the existing stone cladding of the sign located on Atatürk Boulevard over time, the Metropolitan Municipality initiated renovation work. The Construction Investments Department of the Department of Civil Works reinforced the concrete frame of the sign and modernized it by rebuilding the facade cladding, flagpoles, illuminated “Kemer” lettering, and totems.
