DENZİ and RINXLAYA have created a new single titled “Frontal” under the mentorship of Şevket Akıncı, for Converse Turkey’s project “Connect with the Unexpected”, bringing together different rhythms and perspectives. The single is now released!
Denzi and Rinxlaya, two Converse All Star artists from Converse Turkey, came together with the mentorship of producer Şevket Akıncı to create an unexpected music piece for the “Connect with the Unexpected” project. Released on May 5th under Universal Music Turkey label, “Frontal” brings together different music genres such as hard rock and hip-hop.
Denzi, an Industrial Design graduate of Bilgi University, is an artist who identifies himself as a representative of the underground music culture and continues his life as a designer as well as a musician.
Rinxlaya, an Istanbul-based experimental R&B and hip-hop artist, blends his music with electronic elements and distorted sounds. He has been producing since 2017 and has organized various exhibitions and participated in many independent events.
In this special project, the production and mentorship of the piece was undertaken by producer Şevket Akıncı. “Frontal” reflects the artists’ desire to create a completely new production with unexpected music styles and different rhythms, inspired by their positive perspective.
