Menemen Deputy Mayor Aydın Pehlivan, who celebrated Eid with his staff before Ramadan Bayram, also gave good news. Pehlivan stated that they have deposited the Eid bonuses into their accounts and said, “We have just deposited an additional 5,000 liras of performance bonus for your outstanding performance. With the projects we will do together, Menemen will become the city of firsts.”

On his last working day, Menemen Deputy Mayor Aydın Pehlivan individually celebrated Eid with Menemen Municipality employees. The municipal staff thanked Deputy Mayor Pehlivan with a flower.

Menemen Deputy Mayor Aydın Pehlivan, municipal deputy mayors, municipal unit managers, and municipal staff attended the Eid celebration held at Menemen Municipality Wedding Hall.

‘I AM PROUD TO KEEP MY PROMISES’

In his speech to the employees during the celebration, Deputy Mayor Aydın Pehlivan expressed his joy in keeping all the promises he made to municipal workers after taking office. Pehlivan said, “As you know, after taking office, I promised to pay all the salaries that were four months behind, to pay all the unpaid amounts, and to pay all the accumulated bonuses. Thank God, today, as a mayor who has fulfilled all the promises I have made, I am standing in front of you. We have achieved all of these, even when our municipality’s economic conditions were paralyzed. We managed to become a large family with strong bonds, putting aside all our differences. For me, nothing is more important and valuable than this. I love each and every one of you separately. I know that you believe in me, trust me, and love me. My biggest gain is the throne in your hearts.”

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE STAFF

Pehlivan expressed their great sadness about the earthquake centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, and said, “While preparing for the joy of Ramadan, we faced the disaster of the century. There was great destruction, great losses, and great pain behind it. About 8,000 of our citizens were affected by the earthquake. We are hosting them. They are not our guests, but our new neighbors who need our support and understanding. From the first day, we have shown the most beautiful examples of Menemen’s sensitivity and solidarity together. We are continuing to demonstrate them. Our Menemen Municipality Search (MAKUR) team, which we established as soon as we took office, and you, our valuable workers, have made tireless efforts here. I congratulate you all wholeheartedly.”

GOOD NEWS OF BONUSES WAS WELCOMED WITH EXCITEMENT

Pehlivan, who also gave good news to the municipal staff, continued as follows: “Yesterday, we deposited your valuable workers’ holiday bonuses into your accounts. I thank you very, very much for your great self-sacrificing work during the Ramadan Month and your dedication to your work. You are very valuable to us. As a performance bonus, we have just deposited 5,000 Turkish Liras into your accounts. I would like to emphasize that dark days are behind us for our Menemen Municipality. As long as you continue to work hard to provide quality services to our citizens, we will continue to make you happy within our means. With the mega projects we will carry out together, our Menemen will be the city of firsts in the 100th year of our Republic. Inshallah, the work we do will be exemplary. On this occasion, I congratulate you, your loved ones, and the entire Islamic world on the blessed Ramadan Feast. I love you all very much. May Allah protect you.”

Menemen Municipality workers thanked President Pehlivan’s speech for a long time by applauding. President Pehlivan then celebrated the holiday with each member of the staff individually.
