Borusan Contemporary’s fun and educational children’s workshops at Perili Kosk continue! Children from different age groups will meet the colorful world of Pop Art in the “Cardboard Dreams” workshop, which will take place on April 29, while they will produce their own abstract paintings inspired by different techniques and works created in the “Colorful Colors” event on April 30.
Borusan Contemporary’s workshops for children of different age groups continue to offer a fun and learning environment for young art enthusiasts. Children aged 8-11 and 6-8 will improve their creativity with workshop activities after touring the Hybrid Spaces exhibition on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30.
Children will meet Pop Art
In the “Cardboard Dreams” workshop to be held for children aged 8-11 between 13:00-14:00 on Saturday, April 29 at Perili Kosk, participants will meet the Pop Art movement by closely examining artist Jim Dine’s striking use of color and technique. Continuing with the Hybrid Spaces tour, each child will produce their own Pop Art work inspired by the works in the exhibition.
A colorful experience
On Sunday, April 30, the “Colorful Colors” workshop, which will be held between 13:00-14:00 for children aged 9-11 at Perili Kosk, will start with the Hybrid Spaces exhibition tour. The event will continue with a chat on works produced with different techniques and abstract painting concepts, and artist David Allen Peters’ work “Horizontal Order H 12” will be closely examined. In the workshop where different techniques used in Peters’ artistic production process will be experienced, each child will create their own abstract painting.
