With the cooperation of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Yemeksepeti, the tent set up for earthquake victims living in Adıyaman will have iftar dinner during the month of Ramadan and food distribution during the Eid al-Fitr. During this period, a total of 35 thousand meals will be delivered to those in need in the region.

The pioneer of fast trade in Turkey, Yemeksepeti, and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) implemented the project of delivering iftar meals in a tent set up by TOBB to support earthquake victims in Adıyaman.

During the month of Ramadan and during the Eid al-Fitr, 35 meals a day were distributed to 1,000 people in need in the TOBB tent. Within the scope of the cooperation, a total of 35,000 meals will be distributed.

It will continue during Ramadan and Eid.

The food distribution organization, which started on the first day of Ramadan, will continue until the last day of Eid al-Fitr. Meals will consist of carefully prepared menus and will be prepared and distributed in accordance with the hygiene rules.

With this meaningful cooperation of Yemeksepeti and TOBB, it is aimed to help the citizens in the region after the earthquake in Adıyaman. In the TOBB tent, which has a seating capacity of 1000 people, it is aimed that earthquake victims can have their iftar in Ramadan in a more peaceful and comfortable way.

Aid works will continue in the earthquake area

Regarding the issue, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said: “Thanks to our cooperation with Yemeksepeti, we are happy to be able to contribute to our earthquake-affected citizens living in Adıyaman, even a little, in this difficult time. Apart from Adıyaman, our food delivery service continues in our tents set up in Elbistan, İslahiye, Kırıkhan and İskenderun. We will continue to carry out our work in the region in a multi-faceted manner.”

Yemeksepeti CEO Mert Baki said, “We are happy to distribute food during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr in cooperation with TOBB in order to extend a helping hand to earthquake victims in Adıyaman.
