Established in Ankara in 2019 with the goal of reducing transportation-related environmental pollution, carbon emissions, and time spent in traffic for a sustainable world, hop became the micro-mobility initiative with the widest service network in Turkey within three years. Now, hop is operating in Thessaloniki, Greece, where Atatürk was born.
Hop, which serves more than 1.5 million active users in 3 countries and over 20 cities, will soon start providing services to facilitate urban transportation in Greece’s other cities, including Athens, following Thessaloniki. Europe’s healthiest growing micromobility company aims to expand its operational area to 30 cities in 10 countries by the end of the year.
