PUBG MOBILE’s 2.5 update adds a brand new build mode where players can create their own in-game content, Metro Royale Mode updates, new areas to celebrate its 5th anniversary, items and much more.

PUBG MOBILE, one of the most popular mobile games in the world, celebrates its 5th anniversary with the 2.5 update and World of Wonder, a brand new building mode that allows players to create their own in-game content, from mods to maps. As part of PUBG MOBILE’s 5th anniversary celebrations, new areas, items and rewards are coming, as well as Heavy Weapon and Metro Royale modes are updated. The new update also brings a variety of new cosmetics to unlock in Cycle 4 Season 11 and Royale Pass Month 21.

PUBG MOBILE has announced World of Wonder, a free build mode packed with endless possibilities to give players a whole new way to play PUBG MOBILE. As part of the exciting presentation of World of Wonder, the beta version of which will begin on March 16, players will be able to witness the possibilities this new mode has to offer in a number of new maps and game modes. During the Beta phase of World of Wonder, players will also have the chance to apply for their own editing features and get creative. More details on World of Wonder’s editing access will be shared in the coming days.

The battlefield in the next phase of World of Wonder tests; Inspired by some of Erangel’s iconic locations (Bird’s Perch, Coral Reef, Jade World, and the entire Erangel map), it can be built from the ground up and turned into a playground. Players; will be able to copy, delete, flip, zoom in, zoom out, free view and more with a single swipe, and construct different objects, materials and building types using a set of specially designed tools. Budding game designers will be able to demonstrate advanced features and game parameters, new mechanics and ways to play PUBG MOBILE using a range of gaming devices and objects!

But don’t worry – those who find starting from scratch daunting will be able to get started with the design with two preset game templates: Erangel Mode with the default classic Battle Royale format, and Craft Mode, which will run as a 4v4 Team Deathmatch on a brand new map built using World of Wonder.

While these editing features won’t be widely available in Beta yet, starting March 16, players will be able to explore maps and mods created by other players to get inspiration for their builds! World of Wonder will also have a list of officially recommended and most popular builds to try.

PUBG MOBILE celebrates its 5th anniversary

In addition, with the 2.5 update on March 18, PUBG MOBILE’s 5th anniversary celebrations and imagination multi-map updates are also added to the game! Players can travel to two new Dream Grounds in Erangel to wish their favorite mobile battle royale a happy birthday and compete for the grand chest in the center. Or they can load up their supply rewards by visiting the ten small Dream Districts located around Erangel and Livik.

There are four sets to spice up the anniversary party, including the colorful Block Barrier to shield from enemy fire or bridge crossings, the Material Converter to transform supplies into items from past seasons or completely new items, the Portable Trampoline or throwable items that can be used to launch players into the air, and the Dual Purpose Ball that players can use to fly themselves. New items will also be added to the game.

Update 2.5 also brings updates that will improve the player experience, such as a new heavy-duty vehicle in Payload and new consumables and assistive reward mechanics in Metro Royale. Players can start preparing themselves for Cycle 4 Season 11 and Royale Pass Month 21, which will bring them additional new content, rewards and cosmetics.
