In the field of health tourism, Turkey reached the level of 4 billion dollars in 2022.
Evaluating the issue, Chairman of the Board of Estetik International Op. Dr. Bülent Cihantimur said, “According to the announced data, the income obtained from health tourism in 2022 has doubled from the total of the previous 2 years.
We anticipate that these numbers will increase even more in our country with the quality of doctors and the technological infrastructure of hospitals. The aesthetics market is expected to reach a volume of 40 billion dollars in the world and 280 million dollars in Turkey in 2027.
In the field of health tourism, from February 2019 to last October, Turkey received a total of 5 billion 987 million 669 thousand dollars from 2 million 655 thousand 720 people. On the other hand, Turkey, which has been shown as the reference country for aesthetic surgery, hair transplantation, aesthetic dentistry, and stem cell treatments, has maintained its place among the countries with the highest number of plastic surgeries in the world. Noting that the sector will grow by 10 percent in 2027 in Turkey, the Chairman of the Board of Estetik International Op. Dr. Bülent Cihantimur “Turkey is one of the top 10 countries with the most plastic surgeons in the world. We stand out with quality doctors, quality clinics and optimum service. Companies that provide guidance, consultancy and organization services to patients coming from abroad receive a grant of 40 million TL every year, without repayment. As can be seen from these developments, the existing potential of our country has reached a volume of 4 billion dollars in 2022. We have a serious potential in this field with our doctors, each of whom are experts in their own fields, and hospitals equipped with the latest technology. On the other hand, the areas where patients apply are also increasing.
