YYachts, founded by the famous German sailing racer Michael Schmidt, won the “Superior Exterior Design” award in the “Sailing Yachts” category of the 2023 BOAT International Design and Innovation Awards with its Bella model. Standing out with the unique interior design of award-winning Norm Architects, Bella received full marks from the jury with its aerodynamic structure, elegance and comfort it offers to its users.
The Design and Innovation Awards, organized by BOAT International, one of the world’s best-known superyacht magazines, found their owners in Cortina d’Ampezzo. Founded by the famous German sailing racer Michael Schmidt, the 29.77-meter-long flagship of YYachts, Bella, was awarded the “Outstanding Exterior Design” award by the worldwide expert independent jury. The Outstanding Exterior Design award is the fifth award of YYachts, which was founded in 2016.
“Easy to sail, comfortable and fun”
Emphasizing that sailing is easy, comfortable and fun for Bella, a work of engineering equipped with the latest technology, the jury praised YYachts’ flagship and used the words “aerodynamic” and “stylish”. Standing out with intelligently meeting the demands of its users, Bella got full marks from the jury in this sense. Standing out in terms of security with its deck design that minimizes the risk of tripping, Bella offers the highest level of privacy and individuality in its exterior areas.
YYatchs’ flagship
Bella, one of the four Y9 models of YYatchs, is positioned as the flagship of the brand. Bella, which provides a wide and flexible crew area with comfortable guest cabins, is produced with a modular feature that can be changed individually at the order stage, as in other models of YYatchs. Bella, whose entire layout can be changed in 5 different ways, from the kitchen to the bedroom, offers the opportunity to choose the color, flooring and materials of its interior design. The main material used in the interior design of Bella, which follows the principles of soft minimalism and has the famous Scandinavian style for its simplicity, is oak. Utilizing the warmth of wood in their decoration, Y9 models offer much more than a sailboat with their large and spacious saloon. Offering a completely bright, comfortable and relaxing environment thanks to its windows overlooking the sea at 360 degrees, Y9s can comfortably host eight people in the dining area. The sailboat, which also includes a small working area in the saloon, is quite eye-catching with its striking deck structure with an extraordinary sea view.
The delivery of YYachts sailboats, which are ordered in Turkey under the distributorship of Tetra Pazarlama ve Dış Ticaret A.Ş. and only 25 units are produced all over the world per year, is carried out within a year.
