Prime Video has announced that 25 James Bond films will be available to watch in Turkey as of March 10, 2023, as part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the legendary film series. It also introduced the official posters and trailers of the 60th anniversary celebration and the documentary The Sound of 007. Premiered exclusively on Prime Video in 240 countries and directed by Mat Whitecross, The Sound of 007 provides a glimpse into the extraordinary 60-year history of James Bond music. The documentary The Sound of 007 began airing on October 5.
The 25 films that Prime Video will broadcast in Turkey for a limited time are as follows: Dr. No, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Diamonds Are Forever, Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only , Octopussy, A View to a Kill, The Living Daylights, License to Kill, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, Die Another Day, Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Specter and No Time To Die.
Mat Whitecross (The Kings, Oasis: Supersonic, The Road to Guantánamo), previously nominated for BIFA and BAFTA awards, directed the documentary The Sound of 007 (The Music of 007), shot for Prime Video and MGM. The feature-length documentary opens the curtain of the extraordinary sixty-year history of James Bond music, and its audience sees Sean Connery’s Dr. from No to Daniel Craig’s latest film, No Time To Die. Produced by Ventureland’s John Battsek, MGM and EON Productions, the film offers a look at the incredible history of music, the fascinating true stories behind the melodies, and the famous names who have produced some of the world’s most beloved soundtracks.
