The German biotechnology company Sartorius has donated 250,000 euros to earthquake-stricken areas in Turkey and Syria.

The Germany-based global biotechnology company Sartorius has donated 250,000 euros to support earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria for international medical aid purposes.

Sartonet General Manager Ömer Erdem, who has been Sartorius’ representative in Turkey for 41 years, said: “In addition to the in-kind and cash donations we have made as Sartonet, we had previously announced that we would donate education revenues from our academy to earthquake victims. Sartorius’ CEO contacted me on the first day of the earthquake and asked about our situation. I told him that we couldn’t even enjoy a cup of tea, one of our daily routines. Therefore, this donation from Sartorius is very meaningful for us. It makes us very proud to see that Sartorius, which we have represented in Turkey for 41 years, is also supporting earthquake victims. We will heal our wounds together through education, science, and sharing.”

The company, which is the inventor of the membrane filter used in the pharmaceutical industry, is also a producer of the world’s most sensitive balances.
