International Istanbul Furniture Fair, known as Europe’s largest event, is followed with interest by both local and foreign customers for Turkish furniture. The sector’s exports are expected to receive approximately $3 billion in contribution from the fair.

The 2023 International Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF 2023) was held and has now ended at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center and Istanbul Exhibition Center, organized by Furniture Associations Federation (MOSFED). This year, it was visited by 167,500 people, showing a 25% increase compared to the previous year. Over 1,000 companies and 3,000 brands participated in the international event to introduce Turkish furniture to the world. The fair stands out as Europe’s largest and the second largest in the world.

According to estimates, this year’s fair is expected to make a contribution of $3 billion to the sector’s exports. Thanks to the fair, Turkish furniture receives intense interest from both local and foreign customers, and the Turkish furniture sector gains worldwide recognition. At the same time, visitors get an idea about the quality of these products by inspecting Turkish furniture at the fair.

TURKISH MANUFACTURERS’ ATTRACTIVE DESIGNS WON GREAT APPRECIATION

Once again, Turkey’s furniture sector took its place on the global arena at the International Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF 2023). The fair, which took place on an area of 250,000 square meters, was attended by over 1,000 companies and 3,000 brands.

The fair, which received intense interest from visitors, showcased the beautiful designs of Turkish furniture products and once again demonstrated Turkey’s journey in furniture design.

Turkey is seen as one of the world’s largest furniture exporters and is fourth in terms of product variety, after the US, China, and Italy.
