Abdullah Habib, an Egyptian student living in Eskişehir, aims to announce Turkey’s voice to the whole world through Turkpidya, Turkey’s first digital encyclopedia, which he founded based on the love he felt for Turkey, where his ancestors lived.

Abdullah Habib stated that Turkpidya will grow even more on the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey and will continue to produce innovative ideas to achieve growth in Turkey’s digital presence. Abdullah Habib, who stated that in Turkpidya, where articles using a simple and understandable language, are discussed in a very detailed and comprehensive manner, gave the following statements in his statement:

Turkpidya’s targets for 2023 are big

“Turkpidya has reached more than 5 million visitors in more than 190 countries. By 2023, we will bring the voice of the country to wider audiences on the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey by realizing our new goals. With the new year, we aim to achieve growth in Turkey’s digital presence by signing various partnerships and collaborations. In order to achieve the objectives in Turkey’s 11th Development Plan, especially in subjects such as digitalization and increasing Turkey’s image, by establishing partnerships with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Commerce, it offers tourists, foreign investors, residents of Turkey, in short, everyone. We plan to add different tools and features to help. By establishing collaborations with companies such as Turkish Airlines and Pegasus, we aim to expand especially to Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, and then to include other Turkish states in this great encyclopedia. From now on, other Turkish states will also find a place in Turkpidya. Especially Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, which are large in terms of economic power, population and area, will be the two countries we will focus on in the new year. We want to inform the whole world about Turkish history and culture by developing new tools in 21 languages and providing free access to these tools.”

The number of visitors increased by 106 percent in one year

Stating that new tools including pharmacies on duty in 21 languages, live food prices, live match results and more will be put into service in Turkpidya, Abdullah Habib said, “Because 2023 represents a very special year for us. On the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey, we want to convey Turkey’s voice to the whole world and make its name heard positively on every platform.” Abdullah Habib, the Founder of Turkpidya, stated that Turkpidya increased 106 percent in a year in terms of the number of visitors and concluded his words as follows:

“The effective use and development of these platforms, rather than the digital resources that emerge with the proliferation of big data every second, is also a part of digitalization.
